What are we not seeing?
The concept includes building a debate system that gives citizens control of the information narrative. Then we add voting to let us make decisions. We democratize (i.e. people controlled) the Decision Website and make it transparent. We use our new power to democratize news and social media. Working together, we take control of politics and transform the government into a much stronger democracy. And finally, when people are truly in control, we make this world a better place for all of us.
What are we missing? How will the power brokers react? How will we stop them from thwarting our effort? What’s the reaction across the globe? What are we not seeing?

In the early stages of developing this concept of a people’s debate, I can envision an organization taking the lead. I would want that initiative to come back around to full transparency and democratic control over the organization. But what if they didn’t? What if that organization took the energy of a grassroots movement, whipped up enthusiasm by controlling the narrative in the current media environment… and never returned the effort back to the people?
